Maumelle Animal Services will open its doors again this year during Independence Day for the Comfort a Pet Event on Monday , July 4 , from 5:00pm to 10:00pm . This is the 3rd year MAS has hosted this event!
   The Comfort a Pet Event is to not only to help the shelter animals during the fireworks but to also help any person that may not like the loud noise from the fireworks on that evening .
   The shelter will have a movie playing in the lobby , music in the back yard dog play area , A water sprinkler going in the dog side play area , and animal bingo in the main office . Come on out and visit your local animal shelter , meet some of the staff , play with some of our adoptable animals , and , most importantly , HAVE FUN this 4th!
