The Health Center seeks candidates for the position of full-time Client Services Specialist.
Client Services Specialists are responsible for working together to carry out assigned administrative duties in a medical office setting, primarily assisting clients in a courteous and professional manner to meet Health Center program goals.
Position Status
: Full-time employee.
Duties Include:
Greets clients with a positive attitude, providing excellent customer service and resolving service issues as needed
Provides information to clients and explains guidelines, checks paperwork for accuracy, processes paperwork and enters data accurately and completes other administrative duties as assigned to provide necessary services to clients; perform client registration and scheduling activities as assigned
Utilizes computer software programs to accurately enter client information, process transactions, process payments, and perform other software functions as required
Answers telephone and provides information to callers or routes to appropriate employee
Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, bookkeeping and other clerical services
Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications
Accurately processes client account transactions and payments for services
Prepares activity reports for management as requested
Establishes good working relationships with coworkers and maintains contact with internal and external customers as needed
Maintains knowledge of related program information (i.e. Immunizations Schedule, WIC procedures) and ensure compliance with CCPHC standards and regulatory requirements when supporting clinic functions
Proactively provides feedback for improvements that improve quality, efficiency, cost savings, productivity, systems, and/or procedures
Maintains accurate, organized work records, documents, and files
Maintains strict confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
Reports for special assigned duties during a public health emergency, if applicable
Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree in a related field is preferred
Excellent communication, computer, organizational and attention to detail skills are required
Two years of related experience is preferred
Bilingual skills are a plus
