   Grand Forks , ND – Most city , county and state offices will be closed on Monday , May 30 , 2022 in observance of Memorial Day .   Regular city business will not be conducted that day .   However , emergency police and fire services will continue to operate as scheduled .  
    
   City services such as refuse collection will not take place on Monday .   Residents with regularly scheduled Monday pickup will have their trash collected on Tuesday , May 31 , or Wednesday , June 1 , along with regularly scheduled routes .  
    
   Recycling pickup scheduled for next week will be pushed back one day later than normally scheduled throughout the week , because of the holiday .   For example , Monday’s recycling pickup will take place on Tuesday – Tuesday’s pickup will take place on Wednesday , etc .   The week will end with Friday’s recycling picked up on Saturday .   Please refer to your city calendar or log on to

   City Bus , Senior Rider Bus and Dial - A - Ride will not run Memorial Day but will resume regular routes on Tuesday , May 31 , 2022 .
