   SCHEDULE
   :  Casual/part time hours, working around scheduled events with no guaranteed set hours.
   EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
     Manages upkeep of County owned Arena, land and equipment, ensuring timely maintenance, cleanliness and functionality.  Inspects and evaluates all equipment and facilities and schedules necessary preventative maintenance, replacement or repair related to the same, either personally or through assigned staff or outside vendors primarily. May from time to time supervises and assist employees and/or community service workers assigned to buildings and grounds maintenance.  Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to county maintenance and repair activities; basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems and general landscaping and grounds upkeep. Thorough knowledge of the operation, maintenance, adaptabilities, limitation, and safety precautions of a heavy equipment. Knowledge of applicable traffic laws, ordinances, regulations and procedures, for safe operation of heavy equipment. Skill in the operation of heavy and specialized powered equipment.
   MINIMUM EDUCATION:
   High school diploma; GED or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
