COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, The City of Winchester is accepting applications for Communications Officer. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2021. NO RESUME’S WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT COMPLETE APPLICATION. EXAMPLES OF WORK: Must be able to work in a highly stressful environment. This is an entry level position in specialized work receiving and dispatching messages in the Emergency Communications Center during an assigned shift. Work involves the responsibility of maintaining and operating the E911 Communications Center; Operating telephone and radio systems; Operating multiple computer systems. Work is performed within department regulations and is reviewed by superiors through observation and reports.

Must pass Criticall Dispatcher Pre-employment exam in order to proceed in the hiring process;
