Burlington County voters participating in the upcoming New Jersey Primary Election have multiple ways to cast their ballot , including in - person early voting and Vote - by - Mail .
The primary will be held on June 7 , but voters will be able to cast ballots in - person with a machine during a three - day early voting period beginning on June 3 . Vote - by - Mail ballots have also been sent out to all registered voters who requested them and can be hand - delivered directly to the Burlington County Elections Office or sent by mail or submitted via secure drop boxes .
“One of the most fundamental rights in America and all democracies is the right to vote , and Burlington County residents have more ways to exercise that right than ever before , ” said Joseph Dugan , chairman of the Burlington County Election Board . “We want voters to know that however they choose to cast their ballot – by mail or with a machine – the system is secure and all votes will be counted . ”
Vote - by - Mail
Close to 50 , 000 Vote - by - Mail ballots have already been sent out to voters who requested VBM ballots for all elections . Registered Democrats receive only the Democrat ballot and Republicans receive only the GOP ballot .
Unaffiliated voters on the Vote - by - Mail list receive both parties’ ballots but must
choose only one
to complete and return . Doing so changes their party status from unaffiliated to the party of the submitted primary ballot .

After May 31 , Vote - by - Mail applications must be requested in - person at the County Clerk’s Office at 50 Rancocas Road in Mount Holly .
Completed Vote - by - Mail ballots can be submitted through the U . S . Post Office or placed in one of 28 secure drop boxes located throughout the county . For all Burlington County drop box locations go to ,

Voters may also hand - deliver completed Vote - by - Mail ballots to the Burlington County Board of Elections Office at 50 Rancocas Road . There is also a drop box located immediately outside the building .
“Requesting a Vote - by - Mail ballot is simple and offers an easy way for voters to cast their ballot when its most convenient for their schedule , ” said Burlington County Clerk Joanne Schwartz . “Voters can come to our office and receive a VBM ballot , complete it here and submit it all on the same trip . ”
Completed Vote - by - Mail ballots must be postmarked or placed in secure drop box or hand - delivered to the Election Board office on or before 8 PM on the June 7 election date . However , completed VBM ballots will not be accepted at early voting or Election Day polling sites .
Early voting
In addition to Vote - by - Mail , voters also have the option of voting early with a machine at one of seven early voting sites in Burlington County . Each site will be open for early voting on Friday , June 3 , Saturday , June 4 and Sunday , June 5 .
All seven locations will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM on Friday and Saturday and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday .
The approved early voting sites are:
Chesterfield at the Chesterfield Township Municipal Building , 295 Bordentown - Chesterfield Road;
Evesham at the Gibson House Community Center , 535 East Main Street , Marlton;
Medford at the Medford Town Hall , 49 Union Street;
Mount Laurel at Rowan College at Burlington County Student Success Center , 1500 College Circle;
Pemberton Township at the Pemberton Community Library , 16 Broadway , Browns Mills;
Shamong at the Lenape Regional Administrative Building
( 93 Willow Grove Rd , Shamong , NJ )
;
Willingboro at the Willingboro Public Library , 220 Campbell Drive .
Voters residing anywhere in Burlington County can go to any of the seven early voting locations to cast their ballots with a machine , except for those who have already requested or received a Vote - by - Mail ballot .
Voters on the VBM list who show up to an early voting site or their regular polling site on Election Day will not be permitted to vote with a machine but will be allowed to vote with a paper provisional ballot .

Primary voters can also cast ballots in - person with a machine on June 7 at their regular polling location .
