The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors will hold a recessed meeting Monday April 25 , 2022 . The meeting will start at 8:00am in the Board Room located on the third floor of the County Administration Building located at 365 Losher Street , Hernando , MS 38632 .
Supervisors did not call the Board Meeting to debate the legality Medical Cannabis . They are well aware that 77 . 7% of DeSoto County Voters approved Initiative 65 during the 2020 election .
Supervisors want to hear from citizens about the best way to protect the rights of cannabis companies and the rights of landowners and homeowners . People who can’t attend can still have their voices heard by emailing

. The Supervisors will be provided with the emails and they will be entered into the record .
