   GATLINBURG , Tenn . —
   The bridge at the intersection of Bishop Lane and Cherokee Orchard Road in Gatlinburg will be closed beginning May 4 . Demolition of the bridge is scheduled to begin May 5 as the bridge will be replaced . The estimated completion date for the project is July 31 .
   Motorists will be detoured around the bridge closure via Newton Lane to Stephen Drive .
   All motorists and pedestrians are urged to use extra caution and care when traveling near this location .
