   Avondale to Host Family Campout
    
   The City of Avondale Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its first overnight Family Campout at Friendship Park on April 23 through April 24 from 4 p . m . – 9 a . m .
    
   Sleep under the stars and explore Friendship Park with a scavenger hunt; enjoy some delicious s ' mores; learn how to fish; watch a family movie ‘Onward’ on the big screen , and much more!  Activities , campground , light dinner , and light breakfast are provided .  
    
   Families are required to bring their own tents . $40 per family of 4; $10 for additional family members .  Friendship Park is located at 12325 W McDowell Rd , Avondale , AZ 85392 .   Register your family today for this outdoor experience! Register at:
