   Avondale Teen Employee Mentorship Program starts recruitment for Summer
    
   Avondale’s summer teen employment program called  “AviTEMP , ” which stands for Teen Employment Mentorship Program is recruiting for Summer 2022 .
    
   This popular program has provided employment opportunities to nearly 300 young adults since it began in 2007 .
    
   The program offers young adults ( ages 16 - 24 ) quality temporary summertime employment opportunities with seven weeks of paid , part - time work within the local city government , as well as with several community partners such as local private businesses and nonprofits agencies .  
    
   Applications , program specifics , and requirements can be found online at

    .  Applications will be accepted starting April 4 until all placements are filled .  Applications will be accepted through an online application found at

    and will be accepted on a first - come , first - served basis .
