Athletic Program Coordinator
Under administrative direction, the Athletic Program Coordinator directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the Greenville Sports League (GSL) activities, programs, and special events within the City’s Parks and Recreation Department and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Parks & Recreation. Responsibilities include overall administration and implementation of assigned Division including development of Division objectives and design and implementation of supporting units, programs, processes, policies, and/or procedures to successfully achieve those objectives. Reports to Director.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and sports management, business, public administration; or related field supplemented by three years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in the recreation and leisure industry; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
