For new M . D . of Bonnyville property owners , please note:
   Alberta Land Titles is reporting a three - to - four month delay in processing land title transfers . For this reason , the M . D . ' s land title information may not be updated for properties purchased during and after February 2022 . The M . D . will likely not receive updated ownership information for these properties before tax notices are mailed at the beginning of June .
   Please note: failure to receive your tax notice does not exempt you from late payment penalties . Property owners are responsible to ensure property taxes are paid on time .
   If you have purchased property since February of this year , please contact the Tax Department at the Main Administration Office at 780 - 826 - 3171 and provide your new property ownership information .
