The purpose of this position is to provide secretarial and administrative services to officials and relieve them of administrative details. An employee of this class is required to exercise considerable initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in all aspects of office procedures. New assignments and changes in policies and procedures are received in general outline and incumbents are expected to proceed with minimum supervision. Positions in this class are required to have the ability to accurately record and transcribe oral or recorded dictation for public hearings, pre-bid and pre-construction conferences, meetings with other governmental agencies, as well as general correspondence.
This is a Full Time Job with benefits. Salary Range in $27,726.40-$49,545.60 Apply on Room 201 at Gadsden City Hall 90 Broad Street Gadsden Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Deadline will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
