POSITION SUMMARY
The San Miguel County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office is seeking a positive, ethical and customer-service driven full-time, year-round Administrative Assistant. This position will perform a variety of complex tasks, duties and responsibilities in support of the County Treasurer and Public Trustee Department.
The position will report directly to the Treasurer and Public Trustee and will be compensated at $20.26 per hour. This position possesses no supervisory responsibilities, but will require frequent interaction with the general public. As a full-time position, the Administrative Assistant will be eligible for all County-sponsored insurance and benefit plans as summarized in SMC 2022 Summary of Benefits.
Supervision Received:
This position reports directly to the County Treasurer & Public Trustee and the Chief Deputy Treasurer/Public Trustee. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and know and understand when situations should be escalated to a higher level of decision making authority.
Supervision Exercised:
This position possesses no supervisory responsibilities, but will require frequent interaction with the general public.
