Taylor County is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of
Accounts Payable/Reception/Mail Clerk
for the
Purchasing Department.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Prefer
one (1) year of relevant office experience
; this can be supplemented with legal training or relevant additional schooling. Applicants must have
excellent customer service skills
, both on the telephone and in the office.
Qualified applicants must have
excellent computer skills
and be capable of learning various computer software programs, mail machine functions, and a 10-key machine. Must be able to
communicate effectively
, both orally and in writing, and also have excellent organizational skills.
Reception skills, accounts payable experience, and bookkeeping skills are preferred for this position.
Starting Salary: $32,333 per year + benefits
