   GENERAL SUMMARY:
     
   Under the supervision of the Accounting Technician or designee, responsible for processing the Township’s bi-weekly accounts payable in the computer system and preparing accounts payable checks and all related reports. Review purchase orders for compliance with Township purchasing policies.  Maintains and verifies that all vendor documents are complete and up to date including W9’s, addresses and ACH information. Processes requests from vendors for the Township’s tax-exempt information, credit applications and W9 information. Performs other accounting and clerical support tasks as directed. 
   EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
    
   Education:
      High School graduation or equivalent with supplemental coursework in accounting, bookkeeping or general business. 
   Experience: 
   Two years of progressively more experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable. 
   AT WILL EMPLOYMENT
   2022 SALARY RANGE:
         (Pay Grade 5)  $19.71 - $23.65 
   APPROXIMATE STARTING DATE:
      May 9, 2022
   HOURS TO BE WORKED:
      15-20 hours/week – Monday – Friday (to be determined)
