Answers, investigates, and resolves complaints of violations of animal ordinances and provides citizens with assistance and/or information. High school diploma/GED; public relations experience; handling and caring of animals; prior law enforcement experience preferred but not required; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver license. Euthanasia Technician Certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire. Must complete State of Texas Basic Animal Control Officer Course and must obtain State of Texas Basic Animal Control Officer Certification within 120 days of hire date.
