Elementary and Middle School Summer Academy is a 15 day intensive academic support program designed to meet the needs of students currently in grades K - 8 who are currently struggling in both math and language arts . Summer Academy does not have a separate enrichment component .
Eligibility:
Students entering 1st through 8th grades who have scored below the 30th percentile on both Reading and Math NWEA assessments are eligible for Summer Academy . During ( or before ) the first week of June , families will receive an email form inviting eligible students to participate in Summer Academy . We will enroll students with invitations on a first - come , first - served basis until grade - level capacity is reached .

Dates:
June 27 - 29: Program set - up and professional learning
July 5 - July 28: Instructional Time ( Monday - Thursday )
Cost: Free
Location: All grades will attend Liberty Middle School
Transportation: Transportation will be provided . Routes will be communicated once the enrollment is complete .
Times: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 11:30am
Daily Schedule:
8:00 Arrival
8:00 - 8:15 - Breakfast & Class Meeting
8:15 - 11:15 - Instruction
11:15 - 11:25 - End of the day reflection
11:25 - 11:30 - Dismissal & Bus Departure
* a light grab & go breakfast will be available for 15 minutes prior to instruction . Students will bring breakfast to their first classroom upon arrival .
